Close to 30 road safety experts gathered in Madrid last November to seek solutions for achieving our Target Zero. The conference was organized by Fundación MAPFRE and took place in the Congress of Deputies (the Spanish lower house of parliament). Sponsored by its Road Safety and Sustainable Mobility Committee, the participants included Rosa Romero, third deputy chair of the Board of the Lower House, Antonio Huertas, president of Fundación MAPFRE, and the Spanish Interior Minister, Fernando Grande-Marlaska. Over the last 12 years, Fundación MAPFRE has allocated 96 million euros to accident prevention through a series of educational programs it runs in over 20 countries.
