In accordance with the Strategic Plan defined for the period 2019-2021, MAPFRE’s Executive Committee has created the Group’s Automobile Technical Management, within the Corporate Business and Clients Area. Going forward, it will be responsible for overseeing the management of the automobile line worldwide. Javier del Río, chief technical officer at MAPFRE ESPAÑA, assumes full executive responsibility, acting on behalf of the Executive Committee. Juan Armijo has been appointed corporate technical manager of MAPFRE’s Automobile line, integrated within the Corporate Business and Clients Area, as well as assistant general manager of MAPFRE S.A.; and Darío Ferreras, manager of Automobile Benefits at MAPFRE, integrated within the Automobile Technical Management, will be accountable to the head of the latter.
