A group of 60 youngsters at risk of social exclusion, from the Paraisópolis community in São Paulo, were special guests at the Brazil Open sponsored by BB MAPFRE.
This initiative had the support of the Brazilian Sports Ministry and complemented the actions of Playtennis, which runs an educational project “For a Better Future” which encourages young people in the community to take up sports practice.
BB MAPFRE estimates that, since 2012, their sociocultural, educational, sports and health projects have benefited more than 15 million people throughout the country.
