The number of volunteering activities in the country increased by 33 percent last year. A total of 375 employees participated in them. After collecting the MAPFRE Volunteers 2016 award, Alfredo Muñoz, CEO of MAPFRE SIGORTA, stressed that “this recognition is a source of satisfaction for the whole MAPFRE team in Turkey, and reinforces our motivation and commitment to helping improve the lives of many people through the Corporate Volunteering Program.”

In addition, the Strategic Reflection Seminar was chosen to present awards to the CEO of Spain, José Manuel Inchausti, of Turkey, Alfredo Muñoz, and of Honduras, Gerardo Corrales, for their performance in terms of profitability and growth. These aspects have been measured by means of the 2016 Ranking, which is produced by the Corporate Business & Clients and Innovation Area, taking into account different indicators such as the combined ratio and expenditure, as well as growth and return on premiums.
